Position: Supply Chain Analyst
Location: Toronto, ON
Description: The Supply Chain Analyst will manage and improve Kobo’s reverse logistics processes with our Global partners. They will ensure that 3PL delivery schedules are aligned to our customer’s demands and benchmark costs and investigate cost reduction opportunities. They will be responsible for creation and maintenance of SOP’s and work instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
- RMA process for all retailer and direct customer returns
- Create and update the process flow for retailer and direct consumer returns.
- Manage an end-to-end process for retailer and end customer returns at all 3PL’s
- Co-ordinate pick up from customers, tracker delivery through to final disposition
- Update ERP systems and in house SCM systems with appropriate information
- Ensure that the right stock is available to support direct returns
- Troubleshoot RMA’s discrepancies and ensure inventory is aligned
- Cost reductions
- Co-ordinate the e-waste activities on a quarterly basis through direct communication with all assigned vendors across the flow
- Reduce costs associated with returns and refurbishment at DC’s
- Inventory management
- Enter PO and STO receipts in a timely and accurate manner
- This involves freight management both from the customer to final disposition
- Responsible to ensure there is sufficient replenishment inventory in all 3PL locations that will fulfill all direct customer returns
- Track delivery and identify and resolve potential delays
- Ensure timely product availability
- Pre month end check to ensure that inventory for returns are correct
- E-Waste management
- Manage end-to-end e waste activities at all global locations
- This involves flows and disposition of all products through multiple systems
- E-commerce
- Input and review of web orders, management and tracking of issues (refusals, returns, fraud)
- Liaising with external partners and internal customer care teams when issues arise
- Process Improvements
- Monthly analysis on freight as they pertain to shipments for returns.
- Aid in improvement processes and system enhancements
- Complete root cause analysis for returns, with Tier 1
Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years Supply Chain management experience (i.e. planning, buying, etc.)
- CPIM, CSCP, FITT would be an advantage
- Sound understanding of ERP systems
- Knowledge of reverse logistics
- Experience in vendor management
- Excellent communication skills, able to manage vendor relationships
