Description
Supco is looking for a Logistics , import and export associate to join its team and accept the following responsibilities. The associate should have superior organizational and communication skills, responsible for the management and action of smooth coordination of export, import, logistics (trucking, shipping, etc.) and procurement in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordination and arrangements for different tasks right from beginning to the end
- Review of the draft of contracts and letters of credit and make the necessary corrections
- Preparation of export and logistic documents based on the Letter of credit
- All necessary arrangements and coordination for shipments
- Communication and negotiation with different vendors /customers
- Fluent in English and capable for professional correspondences with customers and suppliers
- Administrative activities of the office, operations and data entry when needed
- Preparation of offers and tender documents
- Provide assistance and support as needed to the following teams and departments: Sales and Purchasing Department, Accounting, Engineering, Shipping and Receiving
- Perform any office administration tasks and other duties consistent with the role, as required
- Create / update shipment manifest and packing slips and inventory locations
- Salary will be based on the experience of applicant
Qualifications
- A College diploma or certificate in business administration. Import and export certificate (CITP®|FIBP®) would be an asset
- Familiar with international trade terms and regulations
- Fluent English, French would be an asset
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role as explained above
- Exceptional organizational ability with superior attention to details and confidentiality
- Exceptional writing skills in English
- Ability to multitask
- Willingness to work with others as a team player
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook would be an asset
